Positive: My husband said the breakfast was excellent.
Negative: The room was alright. The bathroom was dirty. There were visible stains on the walls next to the toilet, which means one thing, yuck. The shower had hair on the shelves. It just seemed like the room needs a deep cleaning, floor and walls.

Positive: We did not have time to try the breakfast this time. But it looked and smelled delicious! The bathroom is awesome, especially the shower, and the beds super comfy! Michele was very helpful and her text once we were in the room to see how everything was was a pleasant surprise! What a nice thing to do for customers!
Negative: The air conditioner was making a loud noise when it came on. A small nightlight in the bathroom would have been nice - it's so dark trying to get there in the middle of the night.
Summary: We had an awesome stay!

Negative: We had a strange experience at this hotel. We got there at about 1:30am and went to check in, and no one was at the front desk. We kept waiting thinking they were working on something, then we started looking around the place to see if we could find someone. Then I started calling a few times, hoping it rang somewhere other than the front desk but apparently not. After about 30 minutes I started getting worried that the person was hurt or sick somewhere. I ended up calling Hilton corporate help and she tried calling them too but I could just hear the front desk phone ringing for 10 minutes. Then she came back on and told me she couldn’t cancel my reservation to stay somewhere else, the hotel would have to do it or I’d lose my money. So after 45 minutes of waiting, I started calling Booking for help when the front desk guy finally came out of some room and said “hopefully you guys haven’t been waiting long”. Maybe he was dealing with a health issue or something but they should probably have phones they can carry around with them. And it was way too expensive for such a tiny room.

Positive: Location right off the freeway was nice with lots of food choices right around you. Price was good compared to other options in Gaylord. Young lady who checked us in was excellent. She deserves recognition based on how well she handled things up there.
Negative: Rooms were a bit small for a Hilton brand but it's our first time staying at a Tru property. Breakfast had potential in that there was oatmeal offered but it looked days old (very dried out and not edible looking at all). Hard to believe (more shocked) that was put out there in that state.
Summary: Decent price stay in Gaylord but don't expect much
